This position requires at least nine (9) credits in Early Childhood Education; three (3) of these credits need to be in Child Growth and Development and at least one (1) year of experience working with young children. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and positive behavior intervention strategies in order to provide a nurturing environment for the families we serve. Candidates should have high standards for quality of care and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Responsibilities will include assisting the Lead Teacher with the development and implementation of the curriculum, supervising the children and interacting with the families. The person in this position will have the opportunity to work in all of the classrooms.
The program hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm.
