Tracy Pond is the Program Manager for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire a Child Care Resource and Referral program of Southern New Hampshire Services.

 In this capacity, Tracy provides support and oversight to all Child Care Resource and Referral Regional Outreach Offices and Child Care Resource and Referral Staff to ensure that high quality delivery and accountability of child care resource, referral, recruitment, training and targeted technical assistance is consistently and thoughtfully provided throughout the state of New Hampshire. Tracy has over 17 years of experience in the field of early care and education and has served in various capacities within the field: as a Navy Licensed Family Child Care Provider, Center Float, Lead Infant & Preschool Teacher, Child Care Resource and Referral Coordinator & Child and Adult Care Food Program Coordinator, Child Care Licensing & Evaluation Coordinator, Adjunct Faculty Member and as a Mentor for the Trainer Development Program. Tracy has a Masters’ Degree in Early Care and Education through Wheelock College. She is the parent of two children, who both continue to be the catalysts for what drives her work in ensuring that all families have access to quality child care programs and that the programs serving them have access to quality professional development opportunities and experiences in the field of early care and education. In her spare time, Tracy likes to spend time with her children, read, dance, hike, take photos, kayak and work on training her Boston Terrier, Harlan Reddison Rose McGee Pond, “Harley” for short.

Karen Abbott began working at Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in October of 2014.

She started at CCAoNH as a Child Care Resource and Referral Outreach Specialist. Currently Karen holds the the Lead Child Care Resource and Referral Outreach Coordinator position. She is a graduate from North Shore College with an Associates in Early Childhood Education, Karen has spent over 30 years caring for children.  Her roles have been as a teacher, an assistant director, and as a Center Director.  Karen also spent 2 years working with Autistic children both in a residential setting and school setting. Karen is credentialed by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Child Development Bureau as an Early Childhood Master Teacher with an Infant Toddler Endorsement and as an Early Childhood Administrator. Karen lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, their 5 daughters and 1 son, a dog and 3 bunnies. Karen enjoys volunteering in several community groups that her children are involved in.

Nicole Michalczyk

Nicole Michalczyk began working for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in August 2017.

During high school, Nicole found that children were her passion and she started working as a School Aged Group Leader and a Teacher Assistant. Once she graduated Middlesex Community College with an Associate’s in Liberal Studies, she became a Lead Teacher of a Preschool Head Start class for over 8 years. Nicole then moved into a Home Visitor position, where she was able to help parents and provide families with health, nutrition, and community resources. Now Nicole is a Child Care Resource and Referral Specialist continuing to help families get the resources that they need. She currently lives in Southern NH with her husband, son and a cat. She enjoy the outdoors, cooking and gardening.

Meg Raccine

Meg Raccine began working for Child Care Aware of NH in November 2017.

Before her employment at CCAoNH, Meg worked with children of various ages in both Vermont and New Hampshire for the last 8 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Meg completed an internship at the Child Development Bureau. She has always been passionate about implementing emergent curriculum with toddlers and strengthening relationships with families. Meg continues this work of helping families by becoming a Child Care Resource and Referral Outreach Specialist. In her free time, she loves spending time with her dog, friends, and cooking with her fiancé.

Debbie Verdicchio began working for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in August 2015.

Her career in Early Childhood Education started over 20 years ago and she has worked with children of all ages, from infants to Kindergarten. She holds an Associate’s degree from Plymouth State University in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Studies and Integrated Arts from Granite State College.  Debbie has an Early Childhood Master Teacher Level II credential with an Infant and Toddler Endorsement as well as Early Childhood Master Professional credential.  In her free time, Debbie enjoys walking her dog, Max, cooking and practicing yoga.

Professional Development Support Coordinator

Donna Lake began working for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in January of 2016. 

She began at CCaoNH as a Training and Technical Assistant Specialist. In December of 2017, She moved into a new role as the Professional Development Support Coordinator. Donna has worked in Early Care and Education for over 14 years.  During those years, Donna has held the positions of Lead Teacher in a multi-age infant toddler program and as the Assistant Director.  Donna is also a trained Occupational Therapy Assistant and worked for 6 years as the Occupational Therapy Assistant in a local school district prior to her career move.  Donna holds an Associate’s Degree from River Valley Community College, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Granite State College. Donna is credentialed as an Early Childhood Teacher, Early Childhood Administrator and Early Childhood Master Professional:  Individual Mentor & Program Consultant.

Jennifer Ganim-Smith began working for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in December 2014.  

She began as a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist before taking her current position as the Training and Marketing Specialist.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida International University with a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement.  She then continued on to complete her Master’s Degree in Education with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education. Jenn has always been dedicated to providing high quality educational programs in her roles as an Elementary Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, and as a Program Center Director.  Now she continues to promote high quality programs in the state of New Hampshire through her work with Child Care Resource and Referral.  She lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband and three children.

Amanda Bissonnette began working for Child Care Aware of NH in October of 2017.  

She began her career about 11 years ago as an assistant Infant teacher. Over time, she worked her way up to the position of Center Director and held that title for four years. She joined the Child Care Aware of NH team to continue to advance and grow in the field with an expertise in Infants and Toddlers.  Amanda has a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education from Granite State College and is currently one class away from a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Educational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.  Her ultimate goal is to share her passion with families and providers on the importance for quality child care. She hopes that through her position as an Infant & Toddler Specialist she will be able to share her knowledge of the early childhood field to providers through coaching and mentoring. Amanda is credentialed as a New Hampshire Early Childhood Teacher Level 6 and Master Teacher Level 2.

AnneMarie Brewer began working for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in October of 2013.  

She started as a Child Care Resource and Referral Specialist helping families in the Berlin/Littleton & Conway regions find child care and is now as a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist. AnneMarie earned an Associate in Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Quincy College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Her career in Early Childhood Education began as a Student Teacher in a preschool classroom for Head Start while still in college. She eventually became an Assistant Teacher and worked her way up to Lead Teacher, running her own classroom. After four years working for Head Start, AnneMarie began working for Massachusetts’ General Hospital’s Child Care Center, The Children’s Quarters, in Charlestown Massachusetts as an older toddler/young preschool classroom. AnneMarie moved to Berlin, NH in June of 2013, where she still resides. She is currently providing Child Care Resource and Referral as well as Technical Assistance to the families and child care providers throughout Carroll, Grafton and Coos Counties.

Liz Costa

Liz Costa began working at Child Care Aware of NH in 2017.

She has over 10 years of diverse early childhood experience. Liz began her career in the field as a nanny, but has also been a children’s fitness instructor, early childhood teacher, education coordinator and administrator.  She earned her Associates Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Essex Community College before starting her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Administration at Ashford University.  She then continued on to complete her Masters of Education with a concentration on Family and Society Services from Ashford University.  Liz is passionate about ensuring that all families feel supported in helping their children navigate their early academic careers.  She supports early childhood teachers to stay connected and passionate about the field and she continues to promote the crucial role early childhood development plays in children’s success.

Connie Davis began working with Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in 2013.

Since Connie owned and operated a family child care program from her home for over 15 years, the transition to assisting families with their childcare search as a Resource and Referral Specialist was an easy one.  Currently as a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist with Child Care Resource and Referral, Connie embraces the opportunity to connect with early childhood professionals to promote professionalism and best practices in the early childhood settings.  Connie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and is credentialed through the New Hampshire Early Childhood and Afterschool Professional Development System as a Master Teacher with an Infant & Toddler Endorsement and a Master Professional with a Program Consultant Endorsement.  Outside of work, Connie enjoys running, tennis and baking.

Shaquanna McEachern began working for Child Care Aware of New Hampshire in January 2016. 

She is a CCR&R Training and Technical Assistance Specialist. She has two Master’s degrees: one in Adult Education and the other in Organizational Leadership & Development. Shaquanna is also currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership. She has over 15 years of experience in child care ranging from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. Shaquanna is credentialed as a New Hampshire Early Childhood Teacher Level 6, Master Teacher Level 3, Administrator Level 4 as well as a Master Professional Workshop Trainer, Program Consultant, Individual Mentor and Faculty Endorsement.  She is extremely passionate about program structure, teambuilding and developing as a professional.
