Lead Teacher

Position Summary:

Full-time lead teacher, supervise and be in responsible charge of a classroom of students at a small community-centered NH licensed Child Care Center (currently a NH ECCP)

Position Qualifications & Requirements:

A college degree in early childhood education is preferred, but the successful candidate must possess or be willing and able to obtain the minimum educational requirements for the position as outlined in the NH Child Care Licensing Rules. Experience in early childhood development/education, excellent communication skills, and a valid Infant & Child CPR and First Aid within 90 days of hire are also required.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibility for opening and/or closing the facility, managing a mixed-age classroom for our Summer at the Center program, preschoolers mid-day and afterschool program during normal circumstances. Lots of opportunity to implement your own creative ideas for projects and learning, and work with other staff to create an environment conducive to fun and learning with an emphasis on art and nature.
