Position Summary:

SCS Head Start is looking to fill the following positions at the following NAEYC Accredited Head Start Centers: Lead Teacher in Keene, NH.

These full time positions require teachers who have positive attitudes and love working with children and families. Familiarity with NAEYC best practices, Head Start Standards and the Head Start Early Learning Framework, The Pyramid Model and  CSEFEL is ideal.

 

Position Qualifications & Requirements:

The minimum requirements for a Lead Teacher position are a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field with acceptable Early Childhood Credits.

Position Responsibilities:

The ability to manage multiple priorities including but not limited to, child assessment and record keeping, participation in IEP meetings, processing reporting materials in a timely manner.  With a top priority of creating and implementing intentional lesson plans to manage and maintain a warm caring, intentional educational experience for the children in the head start program.
