Jack and Jill School is looking for a highly qualified energetic Pre-K teacher to join our professional teaching team! This part time professional teaching position (8:30am-1:30pm) could transition into a full time position in January 2019.

Candidate must meet all state and regulatory requirements including a background check and 1 of the following:
* A minimum of 9-18 credits in early childhood education from a regionally accredited college or university, including at least 3 credits in child growth and development.
*Documentation from or on file with the department of NH Child Care Licensing that she or he was qualified for and employed in the position of lead teacher on or before the effective date of these rules in 2017.
An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education is preferredPosition Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring the safety of all children, at all times, by assuring a clean, safe, age appropriate environment.
Adhere to all relevant State of New Hampshire rules and regulations including but not limited to maintaining accurate child/staff attendance records, injury/incident reports etc.
Participate in ongoing professional development and be part of team that shares and works together to continuously improve professionally and organizationally.
Support the emotional and social development of children.
Responds sensitively to the interests and needs of individual children.
Attend planning/staff meetings and collaboratively plan/implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Communicate regularly and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and staff members.
Facilitate, encourage and promote health/safety and socialization skills.
